The Red Kangaroos are very amazing animals. Red kangaroos mainly live in inland Australia. You can only find it in the continent of Australia or zoos. It only lives in mixed habitats of shrub lands, grasslands, mallee scrubs, in the Mulga country, and deserts. In these areas the temperatures go up to 40 degrees Celsius. Which is really hot!
Red kangaroos are vegetarians. They don’t eat meat. They only eat many different varieties of grass. It also eats low herbaceous grasses, also like most other mammals it needs water to survive.
Kangaroos travel in groups called mobs. One mob consists of mainly females and their off springs or Joeys. They call their children Joeys. In one mob there could be one or two males. They need the male to fight the predators that come to get their prey to eat. Mainly dingoes are the predators.
Dingoes are wild dogs that came from travelers who were in search of new land. When they arrived they probably found something precious. They had so many loads they had to leave their dogs behind. Then they became wild dogs.
